Contact

One address handles everything: support@tallypress.site

Messages are read Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (UTC−3), and answered within two business days. Messages arriving at weekends or on Brazilian public holidays are answered on the next working day. There is no telephone line, no live chat and no postal address; Tally Press is operated remotely from Brazil and correspondence is by email only.

What to include

  • For anything relating to a purchase: the email address used at checkout and the date of the transaction. The order reference, if it is to hand, removes a round of back-and-forth.
  • For a correction: the page address and the specific sentence at issue, with a citation or link to the source that contradicts it.
  • For a data request under privacy law: the request itself and the email address the records would be held under.
  • For anything else: enough of the context to answer without a second message.

Card numbers, passwords, identity documents and financial account details are never needed and should not be sent by email. Any such details received are deleted rather than filed.

Common requests

  • Access details for a purchase that have not arrived, or arrived at the wrong address.
  • A refund under the thirty-day policy described on the refund page.
  • An unrecognised charge, which is answered with the transaction record held by the payment processor.
  • A privacy request: access, correction, deletion, portability or objection, as set out on the privacy page.
  • A permission question about quoting or linking to an entry.

Corrections

Reports of factual error are welcome and are treated as the most important category of message received. Corrections are made on the page where the error appeared, with a dated note describing the change. A reply is sent whether or not the report leads to a change, along with the reasoning either way.

What this address does not handle

  • Advice of any kind — financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, career or personal. Questions of that sort are declined, with a suggestion to consult an appropriately qualified professional.
  • Consultations, coaching, mentoring or individual review, paid or unpaid. None are offered.
  • Review of personal documents, accounts, statements or plans.
  • Crisis or emergency matters. This is an unattended editorial address, not a support service. Anyone in an urgent situation should contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis line in their country.
  • Guest posts, link exchanges, sponsored placements and unsolicited commercial proposals, which are not read.
