Who publishes this

Tally Press is operated as an independent editorial project from Brazil, under the name Tally Press. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any university, government body, platform company, research institute or professional association. No author here holds any of the material out as professional advice, and none of the researchers cited on this site is connected to the publication in any way.

There is no physical office and no telephone line. All correspondence is handled by email at support@tallypress.site.

How subjects are chosen

An entry is written when a published study or dataset has a documented method that can be described plainly, and when at least one credible source disagrees with it or qualifies it. Topics with only one source, or with a single uncontested figure repeated across outlets, are set aside — a number that nobody has examined is not yet a subject.

Coverage is limited to measurement. How much income exists, how it is counted, and what the counting misses. Questions about what anyone should do are outside the scope of this publication and are not addressed anywhere on the site.

How sources are cited

Researchers are named in the body text with the venue and year of publication. Full citations appear at the end of each entry and are collected on the sources page. Figures are attributed to the study that produced them, never to "research" in general.

Where an author has stated a limitation of their own work, that statement is reported. Where two studies produce different results, both are described rather than one being chosen. No statistic appears on this site without a traceable published source, and estimates are not rounded into cleaner-looking numbers.

What this publication does not do

• It does not publish testimonials, reviews, case studies, success stories or before-and-after accounts, and does not solicit them.
• It does not offer consultations, coaching, mentoring or individual review, paid or unpaid.
• It does not describe any method, system, framework, formula or sequence of steps said to produce a result.
• It does not state or imply any outcome, income, gain or benefit of any kind for anyone.
• It does not present itself as financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal or career advice.

How we advertise

Where Tally Press pays to promote its material, the advertising follows the same rules as the editorial content.

• Advertisements make no assumption about the person who sees them. They do not state or imply anything about anyone's income, employment, occupation, financial position or personal circumstances, and they are not written as though addressed to a particular situation.
• The destination page corresponds to the advertisement that leads to it. An advertisement about a published entry leads to that entry; it does not lead to unrelated material, and the subject shown in the advertisement is the subject found on arrival.
• No advertisement states or implies an outcome, an amount of money, a timeframe, or a result of any kind.
• No advertisement uses testimonials, review quotes, results claims, scarcity, countdowns or deadline pressure.

Corrections

Errors are corrected on the page where they appeared, with a dated note at the foot of that page describing what changed. Substantive corrections are not made silently. Reports of an error can be sent to support@tallypress.site; a citation or link to the correct source shortens the process considerably.

No corrections have been issued to date.

Commercial disclosure

The entries on this site are free to read. Tally Press also offers material for purchase; where that is the case, the price and terms are stated at the point of purchase before any payment, and the refund policy applies. Purchases are handled by a third-party payment processor, and Tally Press does not receive or store card details.

This site carries no display advertising, no sponsored entries and no affiliate links. No researcher, publisher or organisation cited here has paid for or reviewed any coverage, and none has any relationship with this publication.
